My research asks how adolescents develop a sense of self—and how AI systems might shape that process.
How Friction-Diminishing AI May Interfere with Adolescent Self-Construction
Developed a framework connecting self-perception theory and reflected appraisal to examine how AI-generated reasoning and affirmation might change the way adolescents learn about themselves.
Experimental evaluation · Methods in development
Designed a first-phase evaluation across 30 scenarios and three language models, studying 90 conversations and 540 model responses. Currently refining evaluation measures and reliability analyses with faculty guidance.
A Body-Anchored, GenAI-Supported System for Adolescent State Regulation
Explores the intersection of body awareness, guided reflection, and small, actionable steps in an AI-supported emotional-awareness experience.
Accepted for publication in Young Scholars Academic Journal; not yet published.

I enjoy the messy middle between understanding a problem and building something that responds to it.
An AI-assisted outpatient-care concept designed to close the gap between what clinicians communicate and what patients understand and can act on.
Led interviews, product definition, agent workflow and user journey; authored a 36-page execution plan and developed the final pitch structure for a five-person team.

Exploring a voice-guided experience on a self-assembled wheeled robot.

Coze Skill Award · Generation AIExploring movement programming, speech–movement coordination and embodied interaction through a wheeled robot, robotic arm and robotic dog. Also contributed product strategy and storytelling to the RoboFarm finalist concept.
